Cancellation Policy
1. Deposit and Payment A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total event cost is required to secure your event date. The remaining balance is due 5 calendar days before the event date. Events booked within 14 days of the event date require full payment upfront to secure the booking. Payments can be made via: credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal. 2. Cancellation and Refunds If the client cancels more than 30 days before the event, any payments made beyond the 50% deposit will be refunded. If the client cancels within 30 days of the event, no refunds will be issued. If ASO Entertainment must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund (deposit + any additional payments) will be issued, and reasonable efforts will be made to help secure a replacement DJ if possible. 3. Rescheduling If the event needs to be rescheduled, the deposit will be applied to the new date if ASO Entertainment is available. If unavailable, the deposit will be forfeited unless otherwise negotiated. 4. Event Details Finalization Final event details (start/end times, venue address, special requests, final guest count) must be confirmed no later than 7 days before the event. Major last-minute changes may incur an additional fee if extra setup, equipment, or extended time is required. 5. Performance Standards ASO Entertainment will provide professional, high-quality entertainment. A standard setup requires at least one hour of setup time before the event start time. The client is responsible for ensuring access to appropriate electrical outlets and venue permission for amplified sound. 6. Client Responsibilities A safe, sheltered, and reasonably clean space must be provided for the DJ setup (especially for outdoor events). The client will be responsible for any damage to DJ equipment caused by guests or venue negligence. 7. Inclement Weather (Outdoor Events) If the event is outdoors, the client must provide adequate weather protection (tent, covered patio, etc.). If weather conditions make it unsafe to perform, ASO Entertainment reserves the right to cease performance without refund for safety reasons.
